Mindset Needed To Succeed in creating Joint Ventures

Monday, October 1st, 2007

These are some of the mindset and attitude that you need, to succeed in creating joint ventures.

1. Think BIG.

You just got to think big! Do not belittle yourself. You may be new and unknown at the moment but if you have a great product or idea, approach the best joint venture partners. Look for the top and well know Internet marketers. Hey, they can only say “NO”. It will not kill you! Remember that everyone is subject to this fact – What’s in it for me?

2. Be Thick Skin

I am not sure if that is the correct phrase to use. What I mean is that you should not be afraid or feel shy to approach anyone. You got nothing to lose, so just keep on asking and be persistent. Remember, the best sales person is the one who is not afraid to talk to anyone. They also receive the most rejections.

3. Be Patient and Persistent

This is an important virtue. Be aware that some of these Internet marketers are busy. They probably receive thousands of emails a day. They often receive many joint venture requests as well. So if they fail to response, politely send them a reminder about a week later.

If they turn you down, then thank them for considering your offer. Keep in touch with them and approach them later when the need arise. Remember that a “NO” today does not mean a “NO” forever. Circumstances may change in the future and they may change their mind.

4. Treat Others Well

Building great relationship is crucial to success. This is important especially on the Internet. To tell you the truth, I have not met most of my JV partners face to face, but I always maintain a great relationship with them.

Here are a few tips to build a lasting relationship:

(i) Response to all their emails promptly

(ii) Treat them with respect when you email them. Thank them and show your appreciation for their continuous support.

(iii) Keep up to your promise. If you promise to promote for them, then do it! Do not mess around with their money. Pay them what is due promptly!

(iv) Provide the best for them. If they are endorsing your product, provide them with attractive commissions (75% to 100%) and make it easy for them to assist you. Provide them with review copies of your products and the promotional materials.

(v) Show them you care. I personally do send Christmas cards (the physical copy) to my JV partners. During Christmas or New Year I create a video specially to thank them for their support.

5. Be Sensitive To Their Needs

Do not wait for you JV partners to ask you for help. If you know that they need your help, approach them and offer your help. It could be promoting their product or improving on their product, sales copy, marketing process, etc.

Flash Splash Video

Monday, July 16th, 2007

I’ve recently partnered with my good friend Gary Bacchetti who is an extremely talented marketer with a 35 year impressive track record. I like to refer to him as being “Mr. Flash-Splash!”

They say a picture tells a thousand words, but what can you say about this product?

Gary’s NEW awesome product will not make CENTS for you at all. It will make DOLLARS!

Once I saw it, I had to order one myself. I then twisted Gary’s arm. I pleaded with him to allow me to offer this to you before word got out!

Launch of Richard Quek’s JV Secrets

Friday, July 6th, 2007

It has been 24 hours now since the launch. The sales are coming in well. At the present moment, only a handful of JV partners did the promotion. Others will be sending out their promo in the next few days.

What a relief! It has been a lot of work and planning over the last few weeks but I enjoyed the whole process.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the JV partners that have been supporting me continuously. My sincere thanks also to those who invested in the ebook. I am sure you’ll find the information useful. I have received many great testimonials and reviews form those who purchased the ebook. Some are posted on the site:

Benefits of a Joint Venture

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

This is what Wikipedia defines a Joint Venture - A joint venture (often abbreviated JV) is an entity formed between two or more parties to undertake economic activity together. The venture can be for one specific project only, or a continuing business relationship.

Joint Venture is any effective way to generate income from the Internet. In simple term a joint venture is a win-win situation where two or more businesses team up to create new streams of income that would not be possible on their own. The synergy is possible because of the pooling of skills, products, services and resources.

A joint venture is not only restricted to the Internet. However, in this ebook I will share my own personal experience marketing on the Internet.

Here are some of the benefits of a Joint Venture…

1. Improve efficiency of business

A Joint Venture can improve the efficiency of your business. This is due to the pooling of resources and ideas. I am not a programmer and neither do I have much experience in Ebay. My strength is in writing. So I can leverage my weakness by doing a JV with someone who has the experience and knowledge that I do not have. We can create a product that I am not capable of doing on my own.

This will in turn improve relationship with customers and subscribers. This is obvious if you provide better products that add value to others.

2. Increase in Revenue

The JV will increase your revenue without the expenses of creating a new product. This is true when you endorse products for your JV partners.

In my ZOOM project I created a 500 pages ebook with the contribution from more than 50 Internet marketers. Each one does a small part and we eventually have a product that all the JV partners can sell.

3. Capitalize on your ‘good name’

It does take time to build your name and credibility but once you have a “good name”, you will have the trust and respect from others. This includes your customers, members, opt-in-list and JV partners.

When you have established your success and credibility you can also use your ‘good name’ to endorse the products or services for others.

4. Increase response rate by 400%

Statistics show that a JV can increase the response rate by 400%. This is true if your product is personally endorsed by someone who is successful and with credibility. Get JV partners with excellent credibility and a large and responsive database.

I am sure your product will sell well if it is endorsed by big names like John Reese, Mike Filsaime, Jeremy Gislason and Ewen Chia, to name a few.

5. Creation of a product

With the pooling of ideas and resources a new product such as an ebook can be created. This was how I authored my 500 plus pages ebook, “ZOOM To Super Success” and “My Discount Vault”.

6. Free Advice and Products.

Once you build strong relationship with your JV partners you make seek their advice on certain issues like such as:

1. Pricing of products
2. Sales copy
3. Method of delivery – digital or physical
4. Others
Hey, in some cases they may provide you with complimentary services and products. I do have JV partners who refuse to accept payment from me for graphic design. Yes I do receive complimentary products and free memberships.

7. Win-Win situation.

A JV is a win-win situation because you are pooling together resources and ideas. Both parties of the JV will benefit! You will save money, time and resources.

8. Building Relationship

When you create JV you are building a long term relationship with people. These JV partners will be your friends as well. When you treat them well with respect they will participate in other JV with you.
